Neon is a lightweight digital audio editor and recording plugin compatible with any AUv3 host. It supports most major iOS file formats, allowing for easy drag and drop functionality between plugins. Neon’s editor enables audio import from both files and the system clipboard, along with the ability to record incoming audio.
Functioning as an editor, Neon offers expected features, allowing for per sample basis editing at extreme zoom levels. It includes several built-in effects that can be applied to the entire file or specific selections, offering previews and customization options prior to effect application.
Furthermore, Neon serves as a clip launcher within an AUv3 Host, permitting remote triggering of one-shot or looped samples. The Warp function automatically aligns clip tempo with the host tempo without altering pitch. Additionally, Neon features a slicer that segments samples into playable slices controlled by an incoming MIDI controller.
